Potty Training Time

Yes, it is that time (or so we think) and Mr. Trenten James is starting to begin potty training... two full days already in and he is already trying to out smart us... Yesterday (Sunday), was his first day and he did pretty good, Tory was home with him most of the day and had quite a few wet underwear and pants, but then Trent took his first pee in the potty after his nap and with that he earned his reward (a small tractor that we had hung above his toilet - goodness he wanted that SO bad, but we kept telling him he couldn't have it until he went pee or poop in the potty... not very happy about that, but he got it!)... He even called Mommy on the telephone to tell me that he went "pee in the potty!" but that was our big break through of the day... Today he was a little stinker... He went potty right off the bat when he got up and then he was a stinker the rest of the day.... Even so much as telling Grandma today during this nap (which he was sleeping during), "Gotta go potty" so she took him out of bed, put him on the potty for 20 minutes, finally took him off and put his diaper back on for his nap and he went potty in his diaper! Yes! Too smart! So this should be an interesting couple of days/weeks/months? Hopefully NOT months =) I'll have to keep everyone updated. Night!
