Attack of the Killer Bees!

Ugh! We were trying to have a nice family moment this morning. Tory had found some wild pumpkins growing right outside our house, just over the little creek in the bluff area by our house... so we decided we would go over and pick them with Trent and Cane and have a good old time... well, little did we know that it was also the home of killer bees! Ugh! Cane (the puppy) got stung three times! Tory once! And poor Trent got stung four times! Poor little guy! One of those nasty little things flew up or down and into his shirt and kept getting him until Mommy hauled the shirt off him as quick as she could! My poor little guy! The only thing good that came of it was that we found out that Trenten is NOT allergic to bees and a fudgesicle does make most things "all better." So yeah, Trenten said he dose not want to go back over to get the pumpkins because it is too "beesy." Yup, he seriously said that, it was so cute, and that "he do no like bees." Poor little guy... but the rest of the day was pretty darn good, he did not get a nap (I really tired), and he got to go up to the Gotto pond this afternoon, my Uncle D and Aunt Judy had people up for a cookout, so that was a lot of fun, and then he got to go home with Mama and Papa while Mom and Dad ran and got some hunting things for Tory. We picked him up and he was clean as whistle and smelled oh-so sweet... so he has been upstairs for the last half an hour and I think he is wiped! Haven't heard a peep out of him, but I better get moving myself, lots left to do yet tonight. Hope everyone had a great Labor Day weekend! Cheers!
