We had the first Christmas party of the season and it was a lot of fun... as Alan would say, "it's all over but the crying," and we even had some of that too... it is so much for the little kids, you have to expect a melt down here or there, but I have to say Adelyn and Trenten were SO good... paying for it right now as I type this because poor Miss Addy is SO OFF her game right now, poor thing... she doesn't know if she is supposed to be sleeping, up or doing something completely different... not to mention all the holding she has gotten today... I might find that my baby girl may be very clingy tomorrow... we will just wait and see what the day brings...
The other big news of the night, Mr. Hayden Hackney has made his birthday depute! Trenten, Adelyn, Ashley, Tanner and Lilly have a new cousin... Tory's stepsister and her husband had their first little one today, and we are very happy for them. Congratulations! He is pretty cute and pretty little... 20 inches long, but only 6 pounds 1 oz... long but lean.
