Good Job Beckman!

So proud of my little cousins, who aren't so little anymore. Mitch and Logan made it all the way to the semi state finals for football with their high school team, and they played a heck of a game today, so proud! When it is 35 to 7 at the start of the fourth quarter, it can be a bit daunting, but it was gut-check moment, and they stepped up to the plate and scored 21 points in almost 5 minutes, and were only down 35-28 with two minutes left in the game! Unfortunately things didn't go there way with the off-side-kick, but they went out winners with their heads held so high! They didn't leave anything on that field. Way to go boys!

Trent, Addy, Grandma, Grandpa and I went to the game to watch today, with my Aunt Karen, Grandma Grace, and all of my Aunt Lois' (Mitch and Logan's mom) in-laws (big cheering section for the boys), and we had a great time! Addy and Trent were so good during the game! Couldn't have asked for much better. Addy danced to all the music and Trenten asked question, after question, after question. He was getting this game figured out. And was ready to play tonight when we got home, wanting to be Beckman and me to cheer for him (much to the dismay of his Daddy, who said " what about Green Bay, or the Cougars, or Hawks?"). No worries Daddy, we will be back to those wonderful teams shortly, just a phase in cheering on his cuzs!

So then we went to lunch with everyone, we needed about 30 seats at the restuarant, but had a great time with everyone. Addy and Trenten loved all of Kael's other cousins (Kael is Mitch and Logan's younger brother). And after that we stopped at Target and headed home. Addy with a new little purse in tow and Trenten a transformer that Mommy and Daddy cannot figure out! Thanks Grandma =) But seriously, Adelyn is pretty flippin' adorable with that purse, it didn't come off her shoulder the entire afternoon/evening, until she went to bed... What can I say, she a TOUGH, strong-willed girly-girl =) Love it! And Trenten is the sweetest buddy-boy I could ever ask for. Had a great night, and now it is time to feeds some pups (ours) and head off to bed. Night!
