Ouch!
So it finally happened... Trenten got his fingers (actually only one finger) stuck in the window because he was goofing around. Tory and I have been telling him endlessly the last few weeks not to play with the window controls and to keep his fingers "OUT" of the windows, otherwise he is going to get hurt and it happened. Typically when he starts playing with the window controls in the back, I take control and "lock" the windows so they cannot go up or down without my control, but I was talking to Tory at the time thru the driver side window and Trenten was kitty corner to me, and all of a sudden we heard an "OWWEEEE!" He was smart enough to roll the window back down and get his finger out of the window, because by the time we turned to look at him, he already had his hand up to his mouth, but the damage had already been done, finger pinched and throbbing, poor little guy, and as much as we hugged and kissed him, we also told him that we had been telling him the truth and he needed to listen to Mommy and Daddy, that we told him not to play with the window because we did not want him to get hurt like this and did he get hurt? BIG nodding of head on this one. So up to the house we went, and Trenten spent the rest of the night on the couch, holding his boo-bear-pack and then getting some ice cream with Dad. Went to bed that night good and woke up the next morning and his finger still hurt a little he said (there was a small ding in it) and he said he was going to show Jake his finger that night at Grandma's house and tell him "Never put your finger in the window Jake, 'cause it will get you a BIG ouch." And he is very right.
