Good Boy Jet

So on Monday of this week, we (Tory, Trenten & I) were outside and down at the kennel while Adelyn took a morning nap, it was probably a little after 11:00 and our pest control guy, Jason, came down to the building. Tory went out to talk to him, and let him know that we were going up to the house, and stop by for a check after he was done. Jason said, "sounds good, but you should know that I did the house but didn't do the upstairs." Tory assumed that Jason had figured out that Adelyn was napping and said, "okay." And that is when Jason told him that he just didn't think he should because our big black dog was sitting in front of the staircase, staring him down, and growling at him. This is our boy Jet, who on any other month is practically following Jason throughout the house while he is there, trying to get him to pet him. Jet, Holly, and Cane all know who Jason is and never have a problem with him, as he is there every month. So Tory said, "what?" And Jason said that he had gone to go upstairs like usual and Jet stood his ground and growled low and deep at Jason and just stared him down. That's when Tory realized that Jet was protecting baby Adelyn upstairs and smiled and told Jason that Adelyn was upstairs taking a nap, and that was likely why he wouldn't allow Jason upstairs. What a good boy! Jetter you make me so proud! Jet has only done this twice with Jason - once when I sick with the flu and he sat the top of the staircase in the hallway and wouldn't let Jason up, and now with Adelyn, taking a nap. What an amazing dog! I am so proud of him! Love you Jet!
