Hot & Flooring & Flooding

Sheesh! It is very warm out there right now! Hasn't cooled much, so we will see what is going to happen going into August... hoping for a beautiful end to the summer and beautiful start to fall (as it is coming faster than we all think)... Well, with the heat, comes the fact that we pulled up our carpet and kitchen linoleum and we are going to put down laminate... it will be better over all, and yes, as Tory continues to tell me, I should have listened to him three years ago, but we are here and we are doing it and everyone is so helpful, but I'm really hoping we can start tomorrow and get it knocked out in a day... my fingers are crossed... and not that there isn't enough going on these days but the Tri-State area got dumped on with rain the last couple of days and we are having some record flooding around here... my prayers and thoughts are with people that are dealing with all that... but with that, it is time for bed... lots I should be telling you all, but sometimes this Mommy just gets pretty busy.
