Another Big First - Training with Daddy!

Almost forgot to tell that Trenten had another big first yesterday, Monday, March 29, 2010, other then going to the dentist with Mommy. Trent got to go out with Daddy and do some training, all by himself, no mommy along to watch over him and make sure he was listening or not getting in the way. Adam was out there too (our friend Adam), but he was busy with his own dog, so he was going to watch Trent. Oh my goodness, Trent was SO excited to be going to train with Daddy and the dogs, it was really cute. Tory said he did really well, he only had to be firm once he said. Trent wanted to go after a bumper that Jagger was getting (Adam's dog) and Tory told him no, and he started running towards it anyway, and Tory said he picked him up, gave him a swat on the butt, put his little butt down on the bucket and told him that if he wasn't going to listen he wouldn't be coming training with Daddy again. Tory said that Trent started to tear up and Tory told him there weren't any tears when training, so Trent sucked it up, Adam got done with his run and Tory told him that they could go get the bumper together. Trent started running out, and turned around and told Tory, "I won't cry when we're training again Daddy," and kept running for the bumper. Tory said it was pretty darn cute. =)
